சிறந்த.. சொரிந்த..

சிறந்த.. - இந்த வருடத்தில் நான் பார்த்த, படித்த, ரசித்த சிலவற்றின் தொகுப்பு.

சொரிந்த.. - இந்த வருடத்தில் இதை ஏன் பார்த்து, படித்து தொலைத்தோம் என எரிச்சலூட்டிய படைப்புகள்.

முதலில் சிறந்த..

சிறந்த சிறுகதை.. - இதுவரை எந்த பத்திரிக்கையிலும் வெளி வராத சிறுகதை. நான் படித்த சிறுகதை. என் அண்ணன் எழுதியது. நான் படித்த் பத்திரிக்கைகளில் வந்த ஒரு சிறுகதை கூட தேரியதாக எனக்கு தோன்ற வில்லை. கீழே உள்ளது தான் நான் படித்த நல்ல சிறுகதை.

"என்ன மரகதம் மாப்பிள்ளை வீட்டுக்காரங்க நம்ம ராணிய பொண்ணு பார்த்துட்டு பொய் 10 நாள் ஆயிருச்சு. இன்னும் ஒன்னும் பதில காணுமே? என்றார் வருத்தத்துடன் சங்கரன்.

அவரது பேச்சைக்கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்த ராணி, தனது மொபைலை எடுத்து தன்னை பார்த்துவிட்டு சென்ற பாலாவிற்கு,

" நீங்க ஒன்னும் அஜித்தோ, விஜய்யோ மாதவனோ இல்ல! பிடிக்கலைனா பிடிக்கலைனு சொல்லிருக்கலாம். இனிமே நீங்களா வந்தாலும் உங்கள கல்யாணம் பண்ணிக்க எனக்கு இஷ்டம் இல்ல. Bye! Goodbye!" என்று கோபமாக S.M.S அனுப்பிவிட்டாள்.

1 --> 2 --> 3 --> 4 --> 5 --> நிமிடங்களுக்கு பிறகு பதில் S.M.S வந்தது பாலாவிடமிருந்து.

" :) ஓகே. நான் அஜித்தோ, மாதவன்னு, விஜய்யோ இல்லன்னு எனக்குத்தெரியும். ஆனா அவங்களுக்கும் எனக்கும் ஒரே ஒரு ஒற்றுமை இருக்கு. அது என்னன்னா! நாங்க நாலு பேரும் கல்யாணம் ஆனவங்க.. :( "

"இதை யார்கிட்ட முதல்ல சொல்றதுன்னு யோசிச்சுட்டே இருந்தேன்! சரி, நாளைக்கு எங்கம்மா அப்பா கிட்ட சொல்லிடறேன்.. :) " என்று முடித்தான்.

சிறந்த கதை: (Best Novel):

The best novel I read in this year is supposed to be "The Lost Symbol". Being a hardcore fan of Dan Brown, I was awaiting the release of the novel. When it released, unsurprisingly it is good.

சிறந்த திரைக்கதை (Best Screenplay) :

This goes to the movie "The Following". It would have been "12 Angry men", If I hadn't seen it this year. But "The Following" clenches it since I was supposed to see it the 3rd time with my cousin. As Christopher Nolan always holds good with screenplays, think about the stuff in his first venture. Yeah, this is his first movie. I need a sepearte blog to write on this movie. Those who have the hunger for different screenplays, do see this one.

சிறந்த நடிகை (Best Actress):

This one I gotta give to Ellen Burstyn (Alice doesn't live here anymore) for sure. No other go. The way she portrayed the challenges and obstacle a single mother possibly faces in every inch of life is astonishing. Out of the movies I saw this year, this outta be the only film in which an actress really got something to perform.

சிறந்த நடிகர் (Best Actor):

This one is not definitely not to Vijay or Rajnikanth and this isn't filmfare. Surely its not to Prakash Raj or Nasurudeen shah and this is not Indian National Film Academy awards. This one goes to Al Pacino (Donnie Brasco) for his portrayal of an old goon, who expects more respect but didn't get even a pinch. This character is entirely the opposite of Michael Corleone in "The God Father". The God Father has once again proved he could be a deranged or a wanna-be-head, but gotta-hold-on-to-it gangster. Though Johnny Depp is the lead in this movie, Al deserves it.

சிறந்த படம் (Best Movie) :

The best movie I have seen in this year is undoubtedly It's a Wonderful Life. Though it came in 1946, I still believe this movie has got the power to run full packed houses even if gets released now. Drama, melodrama, romance, comedy ...... what else is not there in this movie! This movie, with its witty nature strongly proves a point that every human should remember.

"Every life is made up of 100 more lives". This is the one liner of the movie. Do see it once in your lifetime.

சிறந்த இயக்குனர் (Best Director) :

"12 Angry Men" I saw this movie last year and recently this year with my cousin. What made this movie so special and so not boring is the direction of Sidney Lumet. Don't get foxed by the movie title. There's no violence or even a gunshot in the movie. Ofcourse there's a knife (without blood) , that too you will find interesting in the flow. You can definitely add this one to your must watch list.
